WE HAVE A NEW BASECAMP LOCATION!! FROM GUNNISON:
Take Hwy 50 West 26 miles. Turn right on Hwy 92, go 1.5 miles and turn right on Soap Creek Rd. Go 8 miles to Road 721. Stay on road 721, and after 2.7 miles you will come to a steep hill known as "Jeep Hill" (this is because you will need to be in 4WD LOW to get up it!). After another 5.2 miles you will come to a fork in the road. STAY RIGHT! (We'll have a sign that says "Eagle Mountain Outfitters" at the fork). Take the fork about 1/4 mile until you see a 2nd sign that says "Eagle Mountain Outfitters Base Camp". You have arrived!
MOST IMPORTANTLY: YOU WILL NEED 4WD LOW AND TIRE CHAINS TO VENTURE UP THIS ROAD!!
